Go on a blogging course for the weekend!

Well, that was my excuse anyway, I mean, there's only so much you can pick up about blogging from the net, but really the reason was to take Teen-Tobbot on a long bike-ride!

Teen Tobbot After A 450 Mile Round-Trip Journey To Liverpool

The course was held at the Baha'i Centre in Liverpool, and was conducted by a very genial gentlemen, called Barney Leith, who has the unique distinction of being able to explain techy stuff in plain English!

Teen Tobbot was rather in her element throughout the course, and I was impressed by how the adults very kindly treated her as a young lady, and paid as much interest in her comments and views as anyone else 'round the table.

There were 9 participants, and the 2 day course was conducted 'round a large dining table, making the atmosphere rather cosy and warm. Though Barney did cover a lot of basic content about blogging, he also gave some interesting presentations on writing, 'finding your niche' and 'link-love'. But the lesson I walked away with was this thought, 'Does your blog leave the reader feeling enriched?'

So I think the most important lesson I learnt this weekend, was to think about you, dear reader!

Have a good week!
