Definitely one for the lads, a clip on the intricacies of an engine. And there's me thinking it was just a block of metal!
There is some truly amazing talent out there. I can't play a musical instrument to save my life meself, and for anyone to be able to do what Lasse Gjertsen from Norway can do, is simply humbling. No gimmicks, just simple timeline editing.
Watch and enjoy!
Answering the question vexing all of mankind, 'Will an iPod blend?'
Curiously, as I tentatively approach midday on this the 2nd of January, I find that all my hitherto dormant braincells are now re-firing. Went for a brisk walk (gasp, shock) this morning, actually downloaded and re-loaded Firefox so I can now surf decently, before crashing out again for an hour. This is a trial run before I start work again on Thursday, hopefully none of my students will turn up, thus allowing me to go to the gym - hah, free at work!
Thinking about all the idiocy I will be facing from various management teams, I am recommending that all managers and politicians are fitted with Direct Input Circuit Kits or DICKs, with a jack drilled into their foreheads. DICKs would henceforth be able to directly communicate with each other by mutually jacking, resources and best practice could be shared, and inane blogging comments could be meticulously drafted, re-drafted, edited and finally submitted to a dick-committee for final approval (or jacking-off) before dissemination to an eager public.
I'm sorry if a blogger out there is offended by my deprecation of managers in general, I actually have one manager I'm very fond of, as she has supported me unstintingly through a very difficult illness. It's the other w**kers I can't stomach.
Having said that, I truly believe that this is going to be a good year for all of us in blogland. Slainte!
